Equipment

VPO has been outfitted with the most advanced surfacing equipment in the industry. While we know that technology alone does not make for quality eyewear, the experience that is coupled with that technology proves to be one of our most valuable assets.

VPO has chosen LOH Optical Machinery to help in the production of its lenses. LOH has been an industry leader in quality and accuracy for years. We at VPO know that to produce quality eyewear in a timely fashion, a solid equipment purchase is an invaluable investment. To compliment the LOH machinery, we have completed our processing with Weco/Pro-Laser patternless edgers. Weco has also built an unbeatable reputation. The patternless edgers give us the opportunity to install frame tracers in the practices that would benefit most by them. These tracers, with periodic calibration by a VPO team member, will greatly help practices improve turn around time.

VPO is also set up for on-line lens ordering. This step of the process creates less work for those on the doctors staff, as well as reducing phone and fax entry errors. Vision Pointe Optical has so fully committed itself to service that we have designed specific delivery/pick-up times for our clients. We feel that those who work on the doctors end have enough to do without having to drive down to the wholesale lab themselves. We feel strongly that by working together, we can bring people back from the One Hour Super-Opticals to the expertise and personal care provided by their trusted independent doctor of optometry.
